Bringing the kitten home.

Kitten age: 6 weeks
When we brought Rogue home; we encountered the problem of my older cat Shadys reaction (again pictures in the albums).
At first, he completely ignored her and went about his lazing around business quite happily with Rogue tucked away nicely in her safe room aka the kitchen.
We didn’t know if this attitude was good or bad, but decided to go along with it anyways and make sure Rogue was happily settled before allowing the face to face meeting. In the mean time, Rogue was kept in her safe room away from Shady, and allowed to settle – shown the litter tray, given food and cuddles with lots of toys.
She settled quickly,
learnt the tray business and was soon on the look out for escape routes. So we decided to progress to the face to face meeting. ![Shocked](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/shocked.gif)
