Mostly RV stories from the road, starting in June.
But first, you'll see how difficult it is just trying to get ready and actually leave home for a few months!

So I'm supposed to be getting ready to leave. Hmm... can't quite figure out what that means, other than the usual panic when it comes time to head out.
I guess people 'summarize' their home here, as opposed to 'winterize', meaning securing things to survive the 120 degree temps ahead. Covering windows with foil insulation, something about leaving pans of water for humidity.
I've been practicing getting up early (around 6), by going to bed really early (around 9). So far, I'm pretty proud of myself, and use the morning cool to accomplish stuff. Still, I prefer staying up all night and sleeping all day, but I thought I'd try the mainstream approach. Not much going on at night these days anyway.
I've already picked up the daily dead bird, and moved some stuff around--whoopie.
It's 8:30am, time to turn the AC on already. It's topping out around 99-100 degrees these days. That I can handle, any higher I start melting.
I got a new camera after losing my old one. I don't like it, but bought it on clearance, so can't return it. It's a Kodak, with 12x zoom, but you gotta really have a steady hand.
I went down to Algodones, Mexico, again yesterday, for cigarettes. $20 a carton-can't beat that, as any smokers know. Algodones is cute, and you can walk across the border, but can only bring back 1 carton and 1 btl booze. It's the cigarettes that keep me coming back.
Oh yeah, I got invited to a party today, around noon, I think. The bartender at one of my favorite water holes invited me to friends in the bar. Apparently, mr. bartender has a boat he takes out several times a week with friends, and I'm now his new friend who's also been invited! Oh yeah, a boat's mandatory to enjoy this weather!
If this is blogging, it seems pretty mundane, sorry....
