Laid off family, looking to move to TN

Hi, my husband and I are both laid off work in CA and are looking to move to TN for cheaper living and jobs, can anyone please tell us what city in TN has the most jobs, my husband does graphic designing and traffic managing, and I do customer service and receptionist work, please any feed back is helpful and we are both willing to take any job, and what about apartments, are they based on credit? please help!
