The Village

Posted 04-28-2009 at 06:51 PM by Keith Butler

My interest at first was to do with an old TV series called the prisoner staring Patrick McGoohan as the ultimate warrior against the establishment and later why Mr Ellis would choose such a place to build his dream of blending structures in with nature.

The welsh call it frozen mouth and yet Mr Ellis after going to various places in the world built the village there?, i myself have had some very strange things happen during my life but all the pieces of my *** saw are coming together.

Many famous people have stayed at the village like Bernard Shaw most likely to get inspiration for there writing or acting careers, Mr Shaw for all his writing ability was taken in by old Joe Stalin who was starving the Ukraine at the time of his visit to Russia and even today many people are fooled by the communists.

The village in port merion surrounded by seventy acres of woodland has me in awe of Mr Ellis ability to see nature and blend his dream in to the mix, things grow in and around the village that only grow in the amazon or rain forest and i have hand fed wild birds there.

The Lord has showed me many things that books and films just cannot do, from living rough penniless to seeing how the rich people live and even providing me with all the props so i could see through there eyes, Italian suits and shoes, TFG160 no top, hard top, soft top, mens aftershave at £100 a bottle, when i stayed at the rebuilt Hotel over looking the stone boat in the village it was £200 a night, the castle just outside was £300.

I do not judge people but i have to say the majority of very rich are lost to lies and deception filled up by there own self importance, I had a house full of Gold two years before this recession because i knew what was coming, when most of this Gold was stolen the police said you do not seem very bothered about it and with a big smile on my face, i said that is because i am not.

I think that village and surrounding woodland is one of the most unusual places on the planet and i have seen it as a very poor tourist just scraping the entrance fee and as a very rich man with more than most men will ever see in there life time.

No amount of money or Gold or fame or drugs can replace the joy and happiness of been honest to yourself and asking the lord to show you how you should be living your life.

I was in Wales in 1984 and walked around the 'set'
which was the backdrop for The Prisoner.

At that time, the set was in disrepair, there was
absolutely no other person there that afternoon,

and it was not as colorful as seen on T.V.

However, the premise of The Prisoner's theme,
that no one escapes the Village, that there
is always 'big brother' watching, is becoming
    a reality, with modern technology.

Two days ago I saw an ad for a medical product
on the internet, so I called the 800 number,

and without saying my name or my address,

the automatic answering 'robot' on the other line knew from my phone number only, the above information.

Now that is something to contemplate.
