No Change in Idaho County Nightmare

Posted 04-28-2009 at 03:06 PM by bammie21

What can I say that it continues. When it is quiet on the weekends we actually get some good sleep. Monday thru Friday, however, we are only allowed about 4 hours of sleep a night. They are still making noise from before 5 a.m. until midnight or so; running the crusher from at least 5 a.m. until at least 11:30 p.m. and making other noise until after midnight.
The State of Idaho Attorney General refuses to help. I thought that if the local (county) government would not help you that you could go to the attorney general's office. Not true here in Idaho. They put it right back to the Idaho County Commissioners and Prosecuting Attorney who in our opinion are corrupt. I have the letter from him to prove they won't help. This is a very real serious health issue for the 3 couples living within about 250 yards of this monster.
This can happen to anyone in Idaho County at any time. The County Government will allow it too.........unless you are related to them or a good friend. If it was one of their own this would have been stopped right after it began.
Why should we be kicked out of our home (we were told by the Kirk MacGregor, the prosecutor) that we could take a long vacation. Vacations should be at our choosing. Not so some idiotic creep can make money on his property with complete and entire disregard for the rights of the property owners next to his "pit". It was not an active pit for about 15 years. Crusher only there about 1993 or so when they built the road for subdivision.
