What do we take?
What do we sell?
Do you think anyone will buy our old toaster?
What if no one wants the furniture?
There's always Goodwill, TAX DEDUCTION!
Leaving my friends behind.
Leaving my family behind! (yay)
Don't know where we will live when we get there.
Don't know where we will work when we get there.
The chance to start all over again,
I get to reinvent myself.
I hope my husband will still like the new me!
So much work to be done, I don't want to throw anything away.
I can't wait to start our new life!

Your rant catches the madness of moving very well. My posts (short and scatter-brained) also is about moving. I'm moving over 1000 (rough estimate) miles: From N Texas to S Wisconsin.
One thing you didn't cover=
How much stuff grows over years.

I never thoguht that I was a packrat... but egads! where did this clutter camefrom now that I don't have a desk or bookshelves or a table....

I feel the moving pain Katzztar...we are moving from central FL to Las Vegas, NV which works out to be 2376 miles/4days and 4nights in hotels as our dog can only handle about 8hrs in the car before having an anxiety attack. We are selling everything that won't fit in our mid sized Nissan Sentra which doesn't leave much.Posted 07-29-2008 at 10:07 PM by massagemamma
