Again this morning at 5:03 a.m. sharp we were awakened by the rock crusher. Yes, they are still torturing us.
Skip Brandt is worthless as a county commissioner along with the other two...Rockwell and Rhedr. The latter came by last Friday and when I asked him about our property rights he said "this is Idaho County". I don't honestly care if I hear the words "you have my empathy" one more time from any of the county officials. All I want to hear is that they are going to wake up and understand the need for planning and zoning and ACT. Not just sit there with defiant, ancient history, non-progressive looks on their mugs. I found similar statements about property rights all over America as the one that follows (which I thought said it the best):
[SIZE=3]Boundary County planners will recognize that property owners have the right to enjoy the use of their property in pursuit of their own best interests, both social and economic, yet recognize also that the ownership of property confers responsibilities. [/SIZE]
Use of private property should not interfere with the health or safety of neighboring property owners or occupants or deny neighboring property owners those same inherent.
I have asked at the Commissioner Meetings, on the phone to all officials both at the State and County levels "where are our property rights?" We have not had one answer except "this is Idaho County". That is a bunch of bull. The statement above says is correctly. One person's property rights shall not interfere with a neighbor's property rights. They are EQUAL.
