The "recession" has had it's way with almost all industries, including home builders, but now is a good time to build.
The good news is that mortgage rates are very low, if you qualify. The banks are stricter than ever with loans, but still want to make loans to qualified people.
Lake Norman is as beautiful as ever, and land is affordable and available. Don't be weary of land prices, they are negotiable.
