Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

Early Voting: If You Have It, Then Take Advantage

Posted 02-24-2024 at 10:42 AM by case44

It all comes down to two things. We will either maintain our status as a constitutional Republic or we will cease to be that. It's really that simple.

We need that to heavily be on our minds during these crucial primaries in your respective states, and also during the all-too-important general elections this fall. Too much is at stake in America. You've got America-loving Patriots, and then you have the Bad Guys. Those are pretty much our options. More on those subjects when I get some time, even though much has already been written on the latter camp, and it's not for the faint of stomach. But for here, I just want to issue a challenge to my fellow readers here in the United States.

2016 and 2020 were definitely crucial years when electing a President, Senate seats, and numerous House seats. But all that's in the rear-view mirror now, and 2024 becomes THE biggest election cycle ever. We're going to be voting at least two more times, and don't be surprised if this ends up being the last two times ever that we get to vote. If the Democrats prevail, then there won't be any more elections in this country. You need to know how serious our plight is. Republicans and Patriots, along with independents, must stand stronger than ever. Defeatist attitudes won't be accepted. You must stand. It's 1776 and 1864 all over again. What's most encouraging are the increasing number of Democrats who are switching sides because their party basically had been betraying them.

This post (along with the impending challenge) is about early voting. It's that important.

In some locations, you have early voting. Your writer is taking advantage of it, and I have in most elections I've participated in through the years. I have been bullish about this the last ten years. Early voting will ensure that my vote will count. It will pay off for you, too. Just look at what's happened in the last week. Some smartphone and internet customers have had serious disruptions, and that even actually affected an election in one location. Folks, our enemies (and that includes a big chunk of our U.S. government) are trying to hijack and cripple America to the point where we won't have basic services and utilities. In addtion, I don't have to tell you about all the Democrat-run disruptions to our voting process in a number of U.S. cities in recent years. The important thing is, get out and vote! Take advantage of early voting where you have it. In these primaries, your concentration is about voting for THE CANDIDATE you want representing you in November. We cannot settle for second or third-best, and you don't want a RINO serving you. Those people won't do squat. So, it's up to us. It's up to me. Early voting pays off in the end. Don't wait until Election Day (um, as it were) to cast your vote. Too many bad things are subject to happen. My challenge to you is please take advantage! You won't regret it. Seize the moment. You will not get another one.

America has already been a resilient and strong nation. It must remain so.
