Damn!!!

I drove up to see a client in Huntersville this evening. I got caught in a huge thunderstorm.
As I was standing on their porch a big bolt of lightning came down & missed me by about 100'!!!
The accompanying clap of thunder was so loud it was like standing next to a battleship firing its guns. 
When the client arrived we went inside & the power was out.
So I couldn't do the appraisal. The client kept apologizing but I told her not to worry. I told her I'd come up Wednesday night at the same time & we'd take care of it then.
The drive back to the house wasn't too bad till I got near the southern part of the city. THen the skies just opened up. It was raining so hard that I couldn't see the road. So me & the rest of the traffic had to slow way down. I made it home in one peace though.
