Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.
What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.
Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)
"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)
"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)
"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)
"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

"Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. What are you O great mountain...you shall become a plain......amid shouts of 'Grace, grace to it." - Zechariah 4:6,7
The ministry of the Christian is the ministry of the Spirit. Other men have intellectuality, but the Christian is supposed to be the possessor of the Spirit.
As simple as breathing is in the physical life, so will praying be in the life led by the Holy Spirit.
ACCESSING THE MIRACULOUS
Are you hungry? Do you want to be a world changer and a miracle for the glory of the Lord and for a harvest of souls such as the world has never before seen?
You're not overcome because Jesus overcame! Why waste time focused on what the giants are doing? Why not focus on who God is and what God can do through you by the effectual workings of His power.
To be effective we must minister according to His energy, or His power in our lives and our understanding of our Christ identity.
ABIDE IN HIS LOVE FLOWING INTO YOUR HEART
The Lord does not just want us to talk to Him a couple of times a day; He wants us to abide in Him. "And now, little children, abide in Him...." - 1 John 2:28
To abide in Him is to abide in His Love. See His love flowing into your heart as you go throughout the day. Bask in It! Give His love back to Him and then receive more love from Him. Do this all day long. Now see it flow into the lives of others.
THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDES US AS WE CARRY OUT OUR CHRIST CALLING
As we cry out from a deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirit, we experience communion, which is a place of deep-to-deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for us and guides us as we carry out His purpose for our life.
"But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God - 1 Corinthians 2:10
