Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Crossing The Jordan

Isaiah 43:19 - "Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already--you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there."

God is focused on removing you from old patterns and methods – ways of doing things and ways of thinking. He was removing you from old assignments and mantles, severing old ties and cycles. Expect and believe for a better understanding of your Christ identity, awakening new authority, and preparing you for the promised land and "new thing" you have known was coming.

You are coming out from under the weight of heaviness and weariness and tapping into the easy yoke and potency of your Christ calling. You are stepping out of the ring where you have been shadowboxing the enemy and every distraction and argument that comes to your door.

God spiritually and physically moves you into position to inhabit and occupy what He has promised you (your Christ calling).

EMBRACING EXODUS

Exodus is where you wave goodbye to the past limitations and begin to walk in new freedom and authority you haven't known.

It's where you begin to walk in your new anointing, mantle and sphere of influence.

Exodus is where you step into your new role and office and begin to function, operate, dream, and think differently.

It is where the long-awaited promises begin to piece together and shift in your favor because it's the time of birthing and manifestation after a long season of pushing.

This is where you get to POSSESS the promised land not just talk about it.

This is where you get to seize the land, pursue bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom, and occupy the new territory God has given you!

You have now outgrown the environment you have been in and it's time to move, whatever that looks like for you, because it will no longer be conducive to your destiny to stay there.
