Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.
What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.
Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)
"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)
"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)
"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)
"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Don't limit your thinking, because God wants you to catch the wind of His Spirit as you break out and break forth into the new thing that He has in store for you. Learn how to MOVE ON and FORWARD into the NEW! Don't live in the past but move into your future in the Lord.
Lift up your head to the Lord and let the King of glory come in and wage war through you – giving you the power to take the land. (Psalm 24) He does not want you to get stagnant but to come alive! Lean into the Lord and believe for the impossible.
Get into position and be ready for this outpouring of His Spirit. Things that were delayed and seemed to be stagnant will be coming to fruition this year. Seek His face - the glory of His presence will come – wave upon wave; stronger and stronger. Some of the most impossible situations will turn around for God's glory. This season is a great time to really press in, seek the Lord, get into position, and be ready for this outpouring of His Spirit.
Fasting will sensitize your spirit to His Spirit, to enhance the relationship you have with the Lord, to cleanse your heart and to hear His voice more clearly.
"But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." (Matthew 6:17-18)
Oil is continuously being poured on your head. Die to self and learn to feast at God’s table even in the presence of your enemies. Embrace the ascended life – living from heaven, dwelling in the sense of His presence, and living from there.
You will be BLESSED as you give your total surrender to the Lord. Believe for and expect an amazing, powerful, anointed, overflowing, glorious, and majestic breakthrough as you bear fruit that remains through your Christ calling!
