Dancing in the Chaos
With intentions set,
secured by the taught
ropes of my will,
I am pushed towards my goal
by the divine breath of the beloved.
You are in control, my love,
I simply am the vehicle,
worn and creaking
from the abrasiveness
of the elements.
When we are together,
filled and tacking in unison
there is nothing more beautiful.
Even I get the impression of control,
feeling you tugging and pushing
on my frame as I, like a skillful dancer,
react to your touch.
It is the course
we steer together, I long for,
unconcerned of the end,
enjoying the guttural sounds,
expansive vistas
and the salty smell of life.
Seeing us from afar,
dancing in the chaos
another may think I am mad,
yet I know,
I am simply lovesick.
