Welcome To Case's Column
Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken.
Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.
In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.![Stick Out Tongue](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!
Regards,

Women Should Really Stop Getting Lip Injections
Posted 06-24-2022 at 07:03 PM by case44
Welcome back to Case's Column, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
I had to do that.![Big Grin](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
But right now, let's focus for a few minutes on the world of women, high glamour, big fashion, and all-around beauty.
So what if I'm a guy?![Big Grin](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I love women. And there are lots of great-looking females out there in Entertainmentville. They are all over the internet, getting pictures made next to a swimming pool, or in a high-rise condo, or on a beach, and so forth. Many of them like to make different plans to try to improve their looks or their images. A lot of times, things tend to center around their looks. Plastic surgery is everywhere, and many women who break into the business, be it acting or modeling, are always looking for ways to look better. They strive for that perfect look. Bigger boobs. Round buns. Thin waistline. Tighter midi-dresses. Full lips.
Okay, let's stop for a minute on the part where your writer just said "Full lips".
Plastic surgery can be used, but it can also be misused. There have been boob jobs, face lifts, and lip fillers which actually had gone right. Those same categories had also seen such things go wrong, and in some cases, terribly wrong.
An obsession with lip injections is what's rampant in Hollywood and other places right now. Most of these ladies never really needed anything done to their lips because I think they looked fine as they were. But be that as it may, ladies in the biz had to learn their painful lessons the hard way. Bad lip jobs are the end result when it wasn't the desired result.
How much Botox can one take? Have you seen some of these actresses who, ...... shall I say,......overdid it? When you get lips bigger than your own zip code, you know you've gone too far with injecting extra magic into your good looks. Pizazz should not have to come with a high price tag. And good looks one day can turn into bad looks the next. Does Lisa Rinna come to mind? Too much in those lips that, now, she looks hideous. Leah Remini also comes to mind. Gwen Stefani is another. And Meg Ryan. And Farrah Abraham. And Kylie Jenner.
Ladies, can we just stop with the lip filling? It's excessive. There are donuts at your local store that need more filling than your kissers do. You were looking just fine before you chose to do the deed. Besides, young girls need lessons of confidence, and this penchant for lip injections isn't helping.
If my future gal ever decided to get her lips injected with Botox or whatever else, then I'm going to lick the carpet in my abode.
Just watch.
I had to do that.

Uh, never mind.
These actresses have done too much with their lips, Case. Do they not even realize how bad all that surgery makes them?Posted 07-07-2022 at 03:18 PM by malfunction
