So frustrated with the Food expenditures....
Every trip to Publix is $125-$150...I don't buy beer, chips, boxed or frozen food...I also very rarely waste food by allowing spoilage...Not a whole lot of flesh.but Man....deli meat for my salads...turkey/chicken breast $11-14/Lb..I'm easily spending $20-$30 a week just on fresh fruit. Ridiculous...but I do eat healthy and a lot.
Had to pay the Medicare Premium($510) for the next 3 months. ..One of my medications costs over $800/month(Victoza)..Under my PCN supplemental program, had to pay $341 for it this month!...next refill will be appx. $500! until I reach a certain amount. I don't know...I think all together, with Medicare I'm paying more for my coverage than when I had the Group Plan at work.
Another deficit month...Thankful that I'm not so maxxed out yet that I can still put some expenses on the cards(The Victoza pmt. hit me out of the blue...so to Chase MasterCard it went)
I do have to consider that the $1163 in new interest charges is not really to be considered as a budget line item if I were making a budget. It does not affect the cash flow, and does not affect the cash flow deficits...but it is an expense to be considered.
