I don't know if this is off-topic or not but here goes.
My mother was 5'3", my dad 5;7" so I was not destined for height. My Dad died in early 1973, when I was approaching 16. My mom felt "guilty" about my height, though I couldn't care less. Or maybe, I knew that was the way it would be. About a month after my dad's death my mother took me to an endocrinologist at Columbia Presbyterian in Manhattan. Predictably, the "tests" were inconclusive. I do remember that my mother and I had a lusty fight about how to measure the urine sample. That fight really pissed me off.
Oh well.
I'm s till 5'5" and I don't give it a second's thought, except that my sons are 5'10" and 5'8". My wife is 5'0". Go figure.
Report: I am reporting the post in case the word "pissed" violates TOS. If so please delete the last two sentences in the last complete paragraph, i.e. not "oh well."
