While panhandlers are nothing new, I am noticing more and more of them throughout town and more of them getting brazen with their tactics. In other words, they're not just standing in the medians, they're walking up to windows and walking in-between traffic lanes while traffic is moving! It's scary, it's bad enough that drivers are distracted with their phones and you've got bicyclists and motorcycles who think rules of the road don't apply to them. Now add on crazy people walking into the street hoping to snag that loose change from your car console.

Shouldn’t Come as a surprise given that Charlotte is a large city , and the economic conditions for the past 2 years.
