Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

We Did Not Drain The Swamp Enough, But A New Age Still Rises

Contrary to whatever fake news some folks out there still absorb, this 2020 presidential election is still not over yet. And, no, I won't take the time to feel sorry for the Marxist left peasants who use this in their daily repertoires. Misinformation is solely on them.

This country called America, meanwhile, still waits for a resolution to the biggest political scandal in U.S. history, and that is widespread voter fraud as several states violated their own laws just to get the desired result they wanted. When President Donald Trump vowed to change Washington's shady reputation so that government could function better, he coined the phrase "Drain the Swamp". And if you didn't trust government before (like I have), then I certainly don't blame you. The Swamp, as you and I have known it, what with its corrupt and crooked politicians, along with weaklings who teeter from one party to the next, and mostly people who say they're serving you but aren't, has just not been drained enough. In four years' time, how can you? The trouble is, this Swamp extends beyond the D.C. Beltway.

Yes, if you just take a look all around the country, many cities have bad mayors. City elections have routinely been ones that people pay the least amount of attention to, and yet, sadly, it's where the most problems have been in recent years. Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, and others have all been riddled with riot and police issues and no solutions. And with all that comes bad leadership, as each of the cities I've named have been run by Democrats. It hasn't been any better in many governors' mansions, either. Meanwhile, in cities and states run by Republicans, while not perfect, there is law and order and all the bad things going on elsewhere have not been happening in these locales.

With the right leadership, it is crucial that President Trump come out of this debacle the winner (with legal votes counted only) and Republicans continue to have control of the Senate. January 6 will be an important date for your calendars as we will have a better idea when the Senate will not accept all illegitimate votes for Dem candidate Joe Biden, effectively throwing the decision to the House delegates. While conservatives and Nationalists have made serious gains in the House, we did not do enough to recapture the House seats for control in order to get rid of Nancy Pelosi, hands down, the worst Speaker in U.S. history. We needed to overtake it and dominate it. We didn't, but we hope to in the 2022 midterms.

President Trump had clearly won this election by a mild landslide on Election Night until a group of haters in several locations were determined to prevent that from happening. If re-elected, Trump and his team are going to get busy with election reform, and it is clear that that will be needed if faith is to be restored in the election process.

America is faced with the grim possibility of a Joe Biden presidency, but what it will really be is a third term of Barack Obama, unquestionably this nation's worst president and one who ran the most corrupt and vile administration ever. It is Obama running the puppet sideshow in Washington as the alleged "incoming" administration is trying to push Trump out, along with the media, who was clearly complicit in this election fiasco. A lot of folks everywhere are going to have to come clean after all the dust settles.

Meanwhile, there is a new conservative age which is rising up in the United States and across the world. Brexit, in fact, just became official at this writing.

In the following video selections, Dr Steve Turley can articulate our country's situation (and remedy) better than I can:

Thanks to a turn for nationalism and away from globalism ---- and that's the real battle now, not conservatives and liberals ---- , our world is changing. Hearts are changing. Those who embraced globalism and liberalism have finally seen how bad those ideologies really were and, thus, they've seen the light. Many folks have switched from Democrat to Republican in their voting ways, but also in their thought process. Despite the hate still rampant in today's left-wing camp, despite the militant Marxists trying to kick down the door by stealing a presidential election in which they did not win, conservatism, populism, and nationalism are now the new residents in the parking garage of American life. I refuse to be depressed and dispirited. Better things will lie ahead for America. It's happening in Europe. It's a work in progress here, as well.

May your New Year bring forth much joy.
