Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

It's All Hands On Deck For Pro-America Conservatives

Posted 08-14-2020 at 06:02 PM by case44

If America is going to maintain its comeback as the world's number one superpower and one that is respected again by our allies, then conservatives and Republicans (and I dare include many independents and former Democrats) need to get busy and not be complacent. We need to preserve our country and our democracy. It's all hands on deck.

This really must happen, y'all.

Houston radio host Michael Berry basically delivered the line of the week last Friday (as of this writing) when he uttered that fateful phrase. We really need all hands on deck. Pay close attention to your candidates in these primaries. We need people who will support President Donald Trump and his very successful administration in helping bring forth America's comeback. Even though COVID-19 still hangs over us, I believe we've already reached our peaks in terms of cases and deaths. We'll still need to wash our hands, wear our masks, and keep a distance. But we, as real Americans, must stand strong and not grow tired. Remember, the Good Guys (That's us....) must win back the House of Representatives, hold the Senate (and, hopefully, grab a few more seats), and, most of all, get Trump re-elected. All three of those things must happen. I'm not in the business of making predictions on seats, but it's important to send a strong message to the Democrats, as they've become radical anti-American, socialist, communist, Marxist, and extremist. The difference could never be more stark than right now. We need to defeat the left, and do it handily. This shows that Americans mean business.

And the Republican National Convention promises to give the American people a sense of encouragement, excitement, and energy for our future. Everything is on the line. Our values. Our prosperity. Our property. Our individual liberties. All of those are on the table and on the ballot. Against who, you might ask? Bogus, anti-American terror groups such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa. I've even read that the latter organizations are planning a siege on the White House on September 17. They need to be stopped.

But let's go back to thinking good thoughts.

Great news for the convention, courtesy of NewsMax. Check the following out.

Good stuff. If we can pull it all off, and do it right, then this year's RNC Convention will be even better than the one in 2016. As I've said before, now is the time. It's all hands on deck. We're up against those who want to destroy our great country, and they are not backing down. Neither should we.

While this link would make a great post here on Blog Central, I think it appropriate just to make a point.

Democrat National Convention is this week. That is, if anyone cares. I might watch a few snippets of it just to see what garbage is going on. I'll hear more about what's really happening from Rush and Hannity.

In the meantime, we should all look forward to next week, when the Republican Convention is scheduled. It will be virtual, even though some segments will actually take place in Charlotte (and I don't know how that got worked out, considering the donnybrook earlier over logistics). If only COVID cases had not spiked in Jacksonville when they did, then we would have seen an in-person convention there to show America that it's time to get open again. Nevertheless, anything the Republicans put on will be way better than anything the Dems do in Milwaukee or other places in the coming week.

I love this. This is a woman in Baltimore running for Congress. She's black. She's conservative. She's beautiful. She's real!

I hope she wins in November. We need thousands more like her.

Chuck Schumer is speaking tonight at the Democrat Convention.

And he still has not been censured for his horrible treatment of two Supreme Court justices before a case earlier this year. Leader McConnell, what are you waiting for?
