By 2021 will New York have one of the highest unemployment rates in America?
While I do think NYC is done, cooked, finished, which puts a smile on my face knowing all the transients and uber foreign wealthy will be leaving, one only has to think back to 9/11 and the fear many had, including myself, of day to day living while waiting for the "next" bang to come. Especially on the Subways. The city will come back again, for sure. But likely in the 2030s. I just hope the housing market where I live stays strong long enough for me to sell and gets mines.
Unfortunately I think Real estate in NYC is finished
I own a brownstone in Park slope and have watched it’s value deteriorate since about 2015.
Worse is yet to come
