And my addendum to that forum post is this:
Joe: "You won't believe what my neighbor did yesterday!"
Jane: "What?"
Joe: "You won't believe what my neighbor did yesterday!"
Jane: "What?!"
Joe: "You won't believe what my neighbor did yesterday!"
Jane: "Look: Alls I'm trying to do is find out what's the name of the guy who's on second?"
Joe: "Who's on first."
Jane: "I don't know."
Joe: "Oh, he's on third. We're not talking about him."
Something tells me that the above is going to set off the ^spam^ alarm.
Other alternatives to an incorrect use of English pronouns are these:
Jane: "Tell me!"
Jane: "Try me!"
Jane: "I'll believe it."
Jane: "Oh, yeah?"
Jane: "I'm all ears."
Jane: "What went down?"
Jane: "Surprise me."
Jane: "What did your neighbor do, for crying out loud?"
Jane: "Well, are you gonna tell me or what?"
Jane: "Don't keep me waiting."
Jane: "Text me."
