Lancaster County: Top 3 Places to Retire in the USA

My wife and family have lived in Lancaster City since the end of 2012. When we first moved here, houses were cheap and we were happy to live in a fairly quiet community.
I have lived in Lancaster County all my life. Growing up on a family farm in Gap was a great experience. However, funds were tight in farming and our family of 9 had to find other ways to make a living. We started a portable shed and prefab garage business on the family farm.
It was there that I learned the ropes of digital marketing and our Amish company began growing through online leads. Fast forward and I'm living in Lancaster City doing digital marketing for the family small business among others.
We fell in love with the city and when my small backyard marketing business grew, we had to move to another home where we converted the garage into office space.
We moved a few months after my wife gave birth to twin babies at home. It was a crazy story as we were not expecting two! When the midwife did not arrive on time, I delivered the baby. It was only then that we discovered there was a second on in there! The second one was born minutes later as the midwife was puffing and panting as she ran up the stairs!
When we moved to our new home, I told my wife we're going to retire here! (We were just reaching our 40's). Well, I just found out that the US News places Lancaster as the 3rd best place to retire in the USA!
I guess that means we will retire here!
We love Lancaster! Since buying the house for a garage office space, we moved the business again to a downtown Lancaster office space. Read more of the marketing story here.
