Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Exodus 12:13 -- "Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you....."

On the night of the first Passover, many of the children of Israel were probably anxious.
They may have said "Yes! We were told to put the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of our home and everything would be all right. Is that true?"
Or "Can the blood really protect me? Or How much blood do I have to put on my doorposts? Or Will the angel of death get me if I am fearful?

We do not need to add to God's conditions. He said, "When I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you."
He did not say, "When I see the blood, plus your understanding, efforts, obedience, faithfulness and refusal to give in to fear, then I will pass over you."

We are delivered by the blood of Jesus alone. If we think that it is because of our faith, then we will always be wondering, "Do I have enough faith? No, it is the blood alone that saves.

Saves from what? -- anything that doesn't match up with heaven.

Matthew 6:10 -- Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

If we think that our deliverance depends partly on God and partly on us, we will not have a settled peace in our heart. But when we know that it is the blood alone that saves, we will have an unshakable peace.

AFFIRMATIONS:

I am led to the Holy Spirit as opposed to my intellect to bring forth the promise of God within me - my destiny.

I am in labor, increasing in wisdom, as Jesus was in His time of preparation.

I open my mouth and confirm the promise of my inheritance in Christ. I look to the vast resources of heaven.

Hebrews 6:1, "let us go on unto perfection."
How do we go on unto perfection?
Through theology or a walk?

It is only through a walk that we prosper in the ways of God and in this walk we not only establish a relationship with God in Jesus, but we put on the whole armor of God to minister the Gospel of his Son, which we are called to do. Many indulge themselves in theology and few share the Gospel of Salvation when it should be the other way around.

The fact is that many argue topics on theology, but rarely does anyone change their mind, and indulging in theology many times causes believers to walk away from the faith because they did not go on unto perfection and the only way is through a walk.

Speak the Words He Puts in Your Mouth.
Be bold and stand in the power of His Spirit with HIS words in your mouth.
Fresh breath of life on the things that have died or laid dormant; dreams that seemed to have been lost but not forgotten will suddenly be realized. He is doing a new thing in you and it's a sudden thing!

He is fanning the flame of His fire and passion in His people to burn with love and desire for the things of His heart; for the things of His Kingdom. He is saying, "It's time to arise and shine." SO ARISE!

The wind of God will bring a fresh revelation and understanding. It will bring understanding for the Word of God, and fresh hunger and for His Word and His presence.

Hebrew 4:12 - "For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
