Carpool between Charlotte and Baton Rouge

Hello! I have to get back and forth between Charlotte and Baton Rouge, La. on a pretty frequent basis (i.e., once or twice a month on the weekends). While there are several travel options I’ve used, I’m wondering if anyone else out there makes this drive/commute. Do you drive or fly? Travel at night or only during the day? Anyone interested in carpool options?
