ON: smart phone vs paper boarding passes

Uh, then said-daughter doesn't "fly at least 15 times per year" in the USA. There are none...as in zero...places in the USA where my Delta phone app was NOT accepted. I had by actual count 26 legs (seperate flights, not counting multiple connections) on Delta and United in 2018, two this year, and maybe ten in 2017. That being (about) ten airports, as I flew into O'Hare a few times and ditto Hartsfield-Jackson.
I wouldn't carry a "paper boarding pass" anywhere within the US, from Sacramento to Bangor Maine, unless I was an octogenarian terrified o'that new-fangled tech (that's been around since 2007) OR for kids younger than maybe 10, obviously. I went 100% app about six years ago, thinking on it. I remember flying to Vegas and a Millennial had an app for whatever airline it was, almost certainly Alaska. That would have been Thanksgiving 2012, and I installed all of them within a couple days. Any and all instabilities in those have been ironed out, AFAIK.
However: When in southern African countries last time, 2016, I went paper just for prudence in the Third World. Totally different situation, obviously.
I highly doubt a "security guy" didn't like a paper boarding pass, that's what scanners are for. Which each stop in the chain uses at SeaTac, O'Hare, Hartsfield-Jackson, Bentonville AR, Tulsa, on and on. I'm assuming the bar codes or other markings cannot spoof a reservations computer.
Sooo....just looked and jetBlue has a Google app in the Play store, rated 4.5 stars (unusually high, IMO) and downloaded by a modest 31K people so far. I am 100% certain that works just fine various East Coast cities. We don't do jetBlue out West, mostly Southwest, United, Alaska, Delta for domestic. Maybe others I'm not thinkin about. I have apps for 4x mentioned, and have used each from one to dozens of times, with 100% success.
Subjects like this where people don't know what they are talking about are discouraging and dangerously misinformed, much like threads asking same questions over and over in various forums, apparently seeking some different answer each time.
