Yes we left April 3 to Crawford TX - we came out to Tx 2 years ago for a wedding in Austin and hated it. We drove North to Waco and just fell in love with the people -the kindness, politeness, the size of the community and location. We did not find a home that first trip but we found areas that fit our wants, 1 acre, neighborhood, close to hospital and doctor, far away from town we dont have to deal with the traffic - etc
we found a place outside Waco on the West side of lake Waco - 1900 sq on a acre with a pool and shop -
we rented it our for 18 months before we retired -
after 7 months could not be happier - great neighbors great location -
