🏡 Is It A Buyers' Market or A Sellers' Market?

Posted 07-23-2018 at 07:12 AM by commonwealthre

As Realtors ® we are often asked is it a sellers’ market or a buyers’ market?

To be able to determine this, we must determine the following:

1. Sales Velocity -How fast are the properties selling in the town?
2. Absorption Rate -How long will it take to see the current inventory?
3. Pending to Listing Ratio -How many of the total available properties are Under Agreement?

Having a Realtor® determine this in the particular town you are selling or buying in can make all the difference in the world.

Factors that can influence the data could be:

A. The School System
B. Commute Factor
C. Inventory Available
D. Tax Rate

Everyone loves to know about the housing market regardless of if they are actively buying or selling.

Having a Realtor® with the experience and knowledge to help you navigate the Real Estate Market will be invaluable to you as either a buyer or a seller.

Interested in retiring in a 3 season climate. Any suggestion of smaller cities in this type of climate would be appreciated.
