Family Life in Fort Lauderdale

Beautiful, Sunny Fort Lauderdale Florida. No other place our family would rather be. Although, as a well traveled family, we absolutely enjoy our quarterly vacations to other states/countries. But Dorothy was positively correct when she stated "there's no place like home".
Fort Lauderdale stands in a category of it's own. It's a slice of Paradise with a Southern twang and Northern implants. She stands as a representation of a true melting pot. Here you can experience first hand, the cultures of others. From the amazing Cuban food, Salsa & Mambo dancing to the succulent Jamaican curry chicken & their warm embracing kindness. Along with a host of other amazing cultures.
Fort Lauderdale's weather is super family friendly. No snow plow needed here! We enjoy Saturday evening strolls down Las Olas Blvd, and Sunday brunch at Shooters Waterfront. I could go on and on for days about Shooters. If you haven't been there for brunch, you must call and make your reservation now, I'll wait!
Because we are a short 20 minute drive from Miami, we get to experience the Dolphins & Heat games as well. Not to mention our very own NHL team the Florida Panthers, located in Sunrise FL, a suburban area of Fort Lauderdale. Its in Sunrise where the Luxurious Sawgrass Outlet Mall is located. Retailers at the Sawgrass Mall range from Nike to Gucci. You could spend days there, literally. If you like to shop,set aside at least 3 days to scratch your shopping itch!
