The Wheels Are in Motion

Following on from my previous blog about emigrating back to SA, well I have talked the talk, and now the walking has now begun.....
After a few weeks painting and decorating, along with slowly selling some of my personal belongings and furniture etc, I have now put my house on the market with a view to a quick sale. Once sold I will be spending a few weeks living with my parents in southern England while at the same time renewing my contacts back in Bloemfontein and Johannesburg with a view to renting some accommodation for 6 months or so in order for me to find my feet, acclimatise and start networking with new clients.
This move isn't without incident, and as a consequence my girlfriend and I have gone our separate ways. It was a hard decision to make, but my future lies elsewhere and regrettably my partner doesn't see herself in that same world.
Things are moving fast, and I hope to have this house sold in the next couple of months, and for all I know I could be living back in SA come Christmas time, if not before. I am certainly exciting at the prospect, even if it means leaving my parents behind. But for all I know they may make a similar decision and emigrate as well in due course.
It will be also tough explaining to my existing clients that I won't be around to support them, although it is fortunate that most of my contracts with them are due to end within the next 6 months. So hopefully I will be able to fulfil my contractual obligations without penalty. Although it also means I won't be able to extend contracts or take on new customers - at least not in the UK.
Let the good times roll![OK](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/oglvvd.gif)
