If I move to GA, will I be able to live comfortably? Is it super racist in the areas I'm interested in??

I'm a 31 year old African-American femaie; I have an African-American Husband, and a 4-year-old daughter.
We currently live in Long Island, NY
and we are planning to move to GA within the next year.
My Job has an office in Kennesaw; so I have been looking online at houses in Dallas, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Canton, and Acworth.
Im really leaning towards Dallas, because you definitely seem to get more bang for your buck; and I have also found some homes that are located in a good school district, which is important.
We are fine with living 30-45 mins away from Atlanta, as being super close to the city is not important to us.
We want to live in a family oriented area, where we will feel safe and comfortable.
I know that we can experience racism anywhere, but we do not want to be in a community where we will feel out of place or unwanted.
We went to visit the above mentioned areas, last summer, for a few days.
While we were there everyone seemed pretty friendly, but again this was just for a short visit and we were'nt in any particular area for any significant amount of time.
May you all give me your honest opinions about African American's being accepted to live in these areas?
The last thing I want, is to have to constantly watch over my shoulders; or have to deal with my child being mistreated because of the color of her skin.
HELPPPP!!!!
