Wall color advice please

I would look in the gray family. "Repose Gray" by SW is a very light gray with almost no undertones. "Mindful Gray" by SW is a medium gray with a lot of warm red undertones. You might even try a greige such as "Agreeable Gray" by SW.

Thank you for your suggestions. I will try a sample on my walls. The only thing is I have never liked gray in interior design. Or taupe. I had taupe in my apartment and I found it depressing. I'm very easily knocked off balance emotionally by color. And gray, taupe, beige, griege do not make me smile. I want an uplifting color on my walls to help balance my moods.

On the other hand, I agree that white is probably not going to work. While I am not crazy about the yellow I have, it at least has character. The two whites I tried on the wall do nothing for the space or the furnishings.
