relocating from San Francisco CA to Tampa FL

Hello,
Any input, advice, pros cons of moving from San Francisco to Tampa Fl? I grew up in Ohio.
I am nervous about sinkholes, alligators, flat land, and high heat in Tampa. I do enjoy golf, paddleboarding, biking, hiking, outdoorsy stuff. I am concerned I will miss some of the great things about CA-hiking, landscape, wine country, downtown city life/culture.
Please share your experience with me in relocating to Tampa. Hidden costs of moving, costs buying home, costs of insurance, culture, etc..
