id like to know what this potato chip route averages in sales per week, his weekly average. Then give the cost. Here in ny, potato chip routes average 18% commission in supermarket charge accounts, and like 20-24% on the cash stops.
Also is there a warehouse rent for storing the product, a garage fee for the 3 trucks, aside from gas/maintenance/insurances/employees

Also, if this guy GROSSES $100,000 a year, that's not a lot. If he nets that, it would be better. Basically you need to know what he makes for the entire year. Also, is the summer a better time than the winter. Much better? Will you need a second income in the winter? Does he pay insurance for the workers? What are his business insurance costs? It can get very expensive. What are his hours? I do bread and I'm up at 3 am daily. If so, can you handle those hours? Do some stores need to be serviced more often than others? How far out do you need to order your product? Are there any stops on the route which owe $$? Are there any stops on the route going out of business? How do you collect $$? Is it COD, or does the business hold the money for you? Are the employees good? Do they take a little money off the top for themselves? Are the trucks in good condition? Will any need to be replaced soon? Is there anything major wrong with them? Does he have a contract with a local box truck rental place in case a truck goes down?
The minutia can drive you crazy if you let it!

You'd be a lot better off interacting with your party by using the Direct Message or Visitor Message functions for that faster, one-on-one contact instead of using these lesser-populated blog pages. Thanks.

Wondering how do you pay a driver if you own a bread route? Is the driver an independent self employed worker that I would give a 1099? Or are the an employee of mine?
