I have read more complaints in the Dothan Eagle Facebook than I can count about the senseless , insane , and even cruel honking that is taking place almost by the hour. People here in Dothan seem to believe that they and they alone have rights. That they can do whatever they want to whomever they want. DO NOT dare complain. That only makes it much worse. People have been hurt by this honking. One lady was scalded by hot water when a large truck honked with it's loud horn. It is as though they enjoy hurting others more than they enjoy sex. I mean, these people thrive o hurting others. They more you complain about it , the more they do it. One really sick aspect to this is that a day care center encouraged and asked people to drive by and honk. Get this..... FOR THE CHILDREN. I guess NO ONE HERE ever heard of nerve deafness , or the rights of others to be left alone. These people doing this could all too easily find others to get off , or amuse themselves. But , this is Dothan where common sense and common courtesy DO NOT EXIST.

To expand a little of my comment that I posted moments ago. The people doing all this honking know by now it is hurting and bothering others. That is why they keep on doing it without interuption. There are a number of 3rd shift workers , elderly , seriously ill , and 1 or maybe 2 terminally ill people within 3 blocks of the day care center that started all this. Among the 3rd shift workers are trucker drivers , and at least 2 nurses. GREAT IDEA ! Keep those folks awake during the day. The people harassing AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT ALL THIS HONKING IS , are not able to realize that 1 day they will be on the recieving end of what they themselves have been dishing out. They cannot even understand that they are dishing this hate out then why wouldn't someone else dish it out to them..... They know they are hurting/harassing , bullying innocent people that only want to be left alone to live their own lives. But that does not matter to these ........people.
