Well, there's a dirty trick for you (says I). I'm good enough at wasting my work-time on the regular forums, without being invited to run my mouth endlessly in Blog-land.

Actually, this is truly the last thing I need in my quest to be crowned Procrastination Queen; I have six (count 'em) SIX projects on my desk that need my urgent attention, but it seems that the more pressing the deadline pressure grows, the more my inspiration runs on an inverse curve, dwindling now into nothing.
Thank heavens for outlines, and daily word counts.
Anyone else here rely on self-motivation for a living? Anyone else feel that's a very dangerous lifestyle, given your personality?

I know exactly what you mean LilyLaLa. I too am a procrastinator and yes it is a very dangerous lifestyle for me but some how I always manage.
My desk is also stacked high with projects that urgently need my attention, but alas, here I am commenting on your blog instead.

....but STILL not done my own day's quota. I needed 10 pages and have only finished 2.
...oh hey look, I still have five hours and fifteen minutes left in the day. Plenty of time!
