A sort of welsh cottagey morning

Well I've been looking up soup recipes and would really like to have soup with damper.Damper is incredibly easy to make and so delicious, you can also have it with butter and golden syrup in the afternoon with tea.Speaking of tea, below is a picture of my favourite tea set,the cup says "there is always time for tea".

I've been thinking lovingly of having a cottage, blog, etsy store or something - called "wistow cottage" but my life doesn't really allow for it,got quite despondent this morning about that fact but there is much to be grateful for.
Wistow was the name of my great great aunts house on the Isle of Wight, and it's an Anglo Saxon place name which means "the dwelling place" in old English.I also found the crest not too long ago of one of my ancestors lines "the Waddells" and desperately want to have it made into a pendant to wear.Theres a lot of jewels I want to have made, even though I know how to make it myself I can't make anything right now.Lots of beautiful Victorian sewing kits I'd love too.

I was looking at the lovely welsh countryside too this morn,it really is mysterious and pretty.
Really need to read a lot more welsh folklore, came across this very sad legend of Rhys and meinir set in nant in north wales about two lovers who are parted and she ends up buried in a tree,it's very sad and I need to add it to my lovers legends blog.

Really I wouldn't mind a lovely tiny cottage somewhere in Pembrokeshire,Wales where I have ancestral ties,I'd put one of those old fashioned silver kettles on the stove and bake and watch historical documentaries or costume dramas, write historical novels.Life really could be so very glorious but the fates always have other plans for us.Welsh blankets too are really so cosy and lovely, and I'm liking the welsh language more and more.

Sometime soon I will resume my Celtic studies from at at least 10-2,since I cannot do the MA in Celtic studies - I don't think I've ever longed for something so much, besides of course my little cottage.Going to look at this little blog now
