Allegiant plane issues

Sure, it's still much safer than driving. But not safer than flying in a newer and better maintained model.

Comfort is another issue - the older machines definitely do not have the comfort of a new 737.
When the inevitable occurs? You mean when the aircraft are parked at Victorville?

Close calls?Tell us again about your drive to the airport.

Safety? At this point maintenance is the issue, not the aircraft. No arguing regarding newer equipment, (unless it's an Airbus!)

Comfort of a new 737...like the 180 PAX models? Older machines like the MD-80/90 series, 2 -3 seating versus 3-3?
