Need serious advice. Family considering moving to Seattle from Chicago IL area.

Also, the only thing making me rethink this move, is all the rude people ive encountered on this forum.( EDIT. Not just my posting, but other postings i have managed to find about other families wanting to relocate to seattle area. I posted this same thread, to multiple sites. The answers have been alarmingly rude. Maybe its my opinion on rude. Im from the midwest. Everyone here, in my opinion, is rude. Compared to the short time i lived in the south, no one can conpare to how supportive and friendly they are.) I am not from the ghetto or bad parts of chicago. We live in a nicer house then most ive seen for $3500 a month in the seattle area. But because our city is full of chicagos criminals, no one wants to live here. Or rent here. Unfortunately we grew up here. And we WILL NOT raise our kids here. We didnt grow up in an area, where people go to college. Did you see where i mentioned the graduation rate? We dont have awesome resources here. Either way, thank you..
