Welcome To Case's Column
Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken.
Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.
In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.
Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Here's my answer to that: Let them leave.
The guess here is that it really won't happen with most of them. A few of them might actually have the balls to do it. I'll provide the link for you to absorb, and then I'll be back.

So, if these haters decide to leave the U.S. just because a conservative wins the White House, being the liberal crybabies that they genuinely are, then I'm sure Canada would love to welcome them. This does happen every time we have an election. Actors and singers and other celebs out there who don't show any appreciation for America (which actually gave them a reason for success in their own lives) are just being a bunch of crybabies. They don't love this great country for one reason or another.
Which brings me back to what I wrote on this blog page many years ago. Why live in a country you can't stand? Love it or leave it. That's all. No country is perfect, and neither is ours, but I can't think of a better place to be on this Earth. We're still safer than just about any other country (despite major cities who are seeing spikes in violent crime because of Democrat-influenced policies). We still enjoy a great standard of living (despite a federal government who is eager to take it away from us). We still have many people who do take great pride in our country (despite left-wing forces who push claims that our own American flag offends them for one silly reason or another).
I'm very proud to be an American. Damned proud of it. Let those who hate this country just leave. Now.
