Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

Polls Mean Nothing -- And Stop Believing The Liberal Media

Posted 08-08-2016 at 07:57 PM by case44

While we've got a country that must be saved from the tyrannical teeth of the far left, the media is doing all it can to get Hillary Rotten Clinton elected to the presidency. During the Olympic coverage, I saw NBC do a commercial for Hillary. Just a bunch of false lies and empty promises that aren't going to happen if she were elected. Political ads don't belong in commercial blocs during sports events. And if they did, then they need to present both sides and not just one.

Deception abounds.

Then I go through the cable channels and see poll after poll, and they change constantly. Right now, Rotten has a lead over Donald Trump, some of them having as much as double digits. Call it what you will; I refuse to believe polls. They mean nothing in the end. It'd be great whenever The Donald takes the lead (as he should), but still, polls mean nothing at all. All the while, you have the left-wing propaganda machines at NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, and CNN, none of which report, but rather, they manipulate the news. It is worse than ever that they are not watchable. Newspapers aren't much better, particularly those in the nation's biggest cities. What a tragedy it is to have a free press full of anchors, writers, and reporters who abuse the very thing that they were supposed to be set out to do, and that is properly inform Americans with the stories of the day............in a factual way. When it comes to politics, well, forget it. Epic fail all the way. I watch Fox News or One America News on television, or I can go online to CNS News if I need something reliable. You need to really know what really is happening, and so do I.

Folks, I believe we have more intelligence than what some of us let on. Look at the facts and the deceptions and decide for yourself. Go to several sources to find out the truth. In the meantime, conservatives must bond together and unite as never before. This is our last real chance to do this. At stake is at least one Supreme Court justice. At stake are millions of Americans out of work, some having given up looking for work altogether. At stake are our values. At stake is this country's security. At stake are our inalienable rights as individuals. Just look around you, and you can see what we stand to keep or lose, and what we're up against.

Now is not the time to be dispirited. It's time we stop believing this stupid, biased, liberal national media. Conservatives, let us bond together and let's take our America back.

I don't even have the stomach for CNN anymore, as I quit watching it a long time ago. You can't get decent news these days.

I'll say it again, and like this: This election is a choice election. It's as clear as daylight: Liberty or tyranny. It's Christianity and God and faith or Radical Islam. It's common sense or stupidity. It's prosperity or starvation. It's freedom or chains.

Those of you who aren't united with conservatives and patriots (and I say this without apology), if Hillary ends up winning, then you own it. You own it. No questions asked.

Conservatives (including those who profess to be conservatives), please bond together. This is it. It comes down to this election. If the leftists (including the media) get their way, then we will likely not get another opportunity again. At stake are Supreme Court justices, this economy, our freedoms, our security, our nation's sovereignty; it's all hanging in the balance, ladies and gentlemen. We must stand!!!!!!

People don't trust our media anymore, as trust in it is at an all-time low.

Low, folks. All-time. This is well-deserved for a medium that isn't doing its job.

Report the news. Stop manipulating it.

Two more presidential debates will take place.

While we dread the idea which moderator will fight to see who attacks Trump at the next one (Martha Raddatz and Anderson Cooper, just so you know), I'm encouraged to learn that Chris Wallace of Fox News will moderate the final debate on October 19 in Las Vegas. Wallace will be the most fair (and, really, the best) of all the moderators who either have or will serve in these debates.
