Important People Doing Important Things!
Welcome to my misanthropic journey through life. Is it almost over? God I hope so.

I'm Still Here...

...unfortunately.
I applied to 4 jobs this morning. I am up to 84 jobs applied with NO job offers. I estimated it would take me close to 300 jobs applied before I get a job offer. It is going to take me a long, long, long, long, long time to get hired - if at all.
I have been applying to part-time/minimum wage jobs also - with no luck. I noticed on some of the jobs I apply to on Indeed.com, that even on part-time minimum wage jobs, I am competing with over 100 other job applicants. How can one win with those odds?
It is so bad around here, that over 75 people applied to a part-time/minimum wage cashier position in a local drug store. I am going to have to move where the jobs are. I finally bought myself a new laptop (because my old desktop is dying) and now I am more mobile in the computer sense. I can take my laptop and go anywhere in the country and apply for jobs that I will never get hired for. Hooray!![Stick Out Tongue](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Seriously, I need to start making plans for a move this November to another area of the country where companies might actually value and want my skills/education/experience/intelligence.
I am also still doing the "Law of Attraction" thing, but I am not asking for a job, I am asking for an opportunity to propel me out of the rust belt and into enough money where I can survive on my own. I might as well dream big.
