Important People Doing Important Things!
Welcome to my misanthropic journey through life. Is it almost over? God I hope so.

Update on my job search:
- Searching 3 months
- Applied to 80 jobs
- 24 rejections
- 10 interviews
- NO JOB OFFERS
I can't even get interviews for part-time jobs at grocery and retail stores. Pretty sad. I wonder what it will take to get a job in the rust belt?
Seriously. What will it take for me to get a job? A miracle?
I have only applied to one job in the past 10 days because there are NO NEW jobs to apply to in my local area. I noticed one of the jobs I interviewed for in April (of which the woman told me she would let me know either way and didn't), was back up on Indeed. I guess she couldn't find the perfect purple unicorn (with sparkles!) for the incredibly easy job that I could do with my eyes closed 90% of the time.
On average, I noticed that for most of the office jobs I apply to on Indeed, close to 100 people apply to each of those jobs. I have a 1/100 chance of getting an office job in the rust belt. Not very good odds. In fact I have better odds playing scratch offs and winning something (at least $2.00). At least with scratch offs I don't have to drive to interviews, try to sell myself, and be rejected for no good reason other than I don't wear purple sparkles and I don't have a horn growing from the top of my head.
Law of Attraction. That is my last hope.

I've got a ton of rejection notices this week. The plebes must be clearing their inboxes before their summer vacations.
