It's not me...I am not the problem in my job search. I have finally come to *that* conclusion.
I applied online to my local Lowe's Store a couple days ago (with my dumbed down resume) for an Admin Service Assoc position. At the time I went through their online hoops and dotted all my i's and crossed all my t's. At the end of the online application a screen popped up and said I needed to fill out an online assessment. I clicked on the online assessment page and here was the response:
Okey dokey. I finished up my online application to Lowe's and moved on with my life.
Fast forward to today and I get an email from Lowe's stating that I need to fill out an online assessment to complete my application. Here is part of what the email said:
Okey dokey. I clicked on the link in the email to fill out my online assessment and lo and behold I get the following response:
Whatever. They have jobs. . . I don't.![Mad](https://pics3.city-data.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif)

You Have No Assessment to CompleteI noticed on my online application it stated the position I applied for was a "Nonassessed Position."
Our system indicates that you have either completed the assessment in the past (either with Lowe's or another company), or you have applied to a position that does not require you to complete the assessment.
No further action is required on your part. Should your qualifications meet our needs, we will contact you.

Thank you again for your consideration of Lowe’s as a future employer! We want to remind you that part of our application process involves the completion of an online assessment. The link to the assessment is at the end of this email. If you are still interested in the position, please complete this assessment as soon as possible.
If you do not complete the assessment before we close this job posting, you will not be considered for this role.

I rated this entry a 5 star. Hey Peeb, you get stars from commenters I guess, where there is a little link at the top right of the entry that says, rate this entry.
