Well this is my first attempt at a blog. I think I will start with general ramblings of daily interests for me and my life. Not that I think people should care about my life, but who knows something I say might help someone else. Sometimes it is nice to know you aren't alone.

My first thought... well it has to being somewhere.

Starting off with some unconcious thoughts, ramblings. Today was a normal day, got up feed Mocha ( My Tonkanese, cat) played with the clothes - washer to dryer, dryer to basket. I am a great procrastinator so folding comes later if ever. Hey I live alone, what do I care! it’s the bachelor life for me.
Anyways I digress, (please note I do that in my stream of thoughts). Onward ever backwards are for those whose head is screwed on wrong.
Ok were was I….. Oh yes a normal day. Got to Parents house which I do everyday - they just live up the block. Played on computer for a bit. Mom and I needed to go out and get her three spools of thread. Mom is a quilter. Might post some pictures later ( meaning someday). Anyways…
On our trip, stopped at a stop light I saw the cutest little duo of what I believe were white Scottish Terriers. So cute and pretty and so happy to be riding in their car going some place. Sad part was the driver, I assume the owner must not want his two beauties for very long since they were half hanging out the driver window. Now Scottish Terriers are a small breed but not THAT small and Mr. Brilliant had two in his lap and driving. I was shocked cause he looked like a well dress man, good hair, seemed clean. (obtw I am single so I try to notice if I can).
I know people want to over pamper their pets, I know others who want to dictate who can own what type/size of pet, even know those who think pets are disposable when moving to another home. I have known people who don’t see anything wrong with yelling at their pet and others who would rather baby talk constantly. I have had pets die in my arms do to illness, some to abuse one to age.
My thought is this as I saw those two little masters of the vehicle control the chauffeur of their specially mode of transportation. “How can society even think to try and dictate to all the pet owners of the world unilateral way of care for pets when so many of us have a strong difference of opinion?”
It is a hard line to walk. I have been hit with the thought for days now. People overly passionate about how a pet should or should not be treated. They can be very scary people at times. Yet should they have the right to tell me what I can or cannot do? Would I have had the right to tell that man he shouldn’t let his precious cargo rule his car? Were does my right to make choices for my pets start and end and the rights of the public start and end?
Governments in each states, cities and counties have written laws all citizens must obey for pet ownership. I am not talking or expressing that. What I am trying to implore is a bit of thought before actions and words. Was that man breaking any local laws? I don’t think so, I checked and I didn’t see any unless in a truck bed. Driving law? I would like to think a police officer would have pulled him over for having a conflict or obstruction from safely handling a car while in motion.
Next thought would be, would it have been correct for me to yell out “don’t let your dogs hangout like that they could get hurt?” I know some of you would think yes, but it wouldn’t have been. It wasn’t my right to dictate to that man. His right overruled my right to say anything. The dogs were healthy happy and safe. He didn’t go far, must have just come out of the vets down the way and headed home.
I believe people get worked up over things like pets because they do think of their pets as a family member, a child. When in fact they are not.
Overtime you will find my thoughts and ideas are a bit far fetch and odd to understand at first, but I hope over that same time you all will begin to become a bit more enlightened about other thoughts and ideas in life.
My conclusion is just this, as a society we have certain rights legal rights, and then we have special rights not written or dictated. These rights are eluded to in many ways: commonsense, ethics, morality, and the like. Still no one word or phrase can really describe the rights I am trying to speak to, a simple right of life.
The meaning of life. We spend so much time in our lives trying to control, dictate or manipulate lives that we forget the meaning of life. We have lost the meaning for so long that now people fight over it, spend hours years agonizing over it. We have people paid just to think about what it could be, yet for me it is simple as life itself.
I won’t write any more on this tonight. I will try to pick up tomorrow or later on. Hope I don’t upset or confuse to many people. Safe to say it will all come out in the wash over time.
Have a great night and day if I don’t write tomorrow.
Ciao!

Your thoughts are somewhat like my own. My brain argues to itself alot too. Though what you said rings of great truth to me, I on the other hand do not scream at drivers with children in back moving like there is no belt on them, or the dog owners with 2 or 3 hanging out the driver's window. I usually just say a prayer that they all make it safely to their destination. I know in my past when my kids would drop a pen or crayon i would say ok hurry and get it then rebuckle-up.. Yes I should have stopped for that, but we all know time crunch makes us do foolish things. But over all I enjoyed reading your thoughts on the matter and pray they all 3 made it home safely.I hope to read more of your thoughts.
