Nothing going on in my job search. I applied to no new jobs in the past week. I still have not heard back from 6 out of the 7 interviews I have went on. My last one said they would get back to me early this week...well that time frame came and went and wouldn't you know...I didn't hear a peep from them.
I don't follow up on my interviews because what is the point? They know if they are going to hire you before you even go into the interview. If they don't hire you on the spot or get back to you in a few days after the interview...you are pretty much toast. At least that has been *my* experience the past 30 years in the workplace.
I have spent the past few days working on animations. Me and my sis are going to enter the "Ottawa Animation Festival." Today is the deadline.
Will our submitted animation be selected for the competition?
Hell no.
But it is free, so what the hey.
Can't say we don't try. Not that trying means a hill of beans in this world.

Vacation
Everyone's on vacation now until after Labor Day. People with jobs have vacations and everyone will have to kowtow to their schedules for the next 4 months, until after the kiddies go back to school after Labor Day.Posted 05-27-2016 at 04:51 PM by IamDot
