Important People Doing Important Things!
Welcome to my misanthropic journey through life. Is it almost over? God I hope so.

What did you say?

I received a call today while I was on a walk. It went to my voice mail. When I got back to my car I listened to the voice mail.
I have no clue what the guy was saying.
None.
The message sounded like it was coming from a cell phone underwater. The phone number was from out of state, so I am guessing it was from a "corporate office" of one of the local jobs I applied to.
Anyhoo...the guy said something about having me text him for a day and time...then the rest of the message was a bunch of underwater gurgling.
Okay. I think I will pass on *that*...whatever it was.
I swear I am in a holding pattern, I don't think the universe wants me to get a job. Seven interviews and a big old NOTHING. I think I am going to apply to a local horse racing track for a seasonal job working behind the counter cashing out/in losing tickets for the betters. It is seasonal and part-time, runs May through November. What the hell, maybe I can make a few bucks and stock pile some money, so I can move in November to the west coast. Maybe I will have better luck in my job search there.
But more than likely the chance of me getting the horse racing cashier job is zero. Thank you universe, you are awesome!
