I never understood them. I'm talking about people that get some kind of high or thrill spending money. I know a number of them, It's almost like they have something against money and can't wait to get rid of it. The funny thing is, when they don't have any they sit around all depressed with withdrawal pains because they have no money to withdraw. Then when they come into some money it's off to the stores and they feel a lot better when they get home with the crap that they pissed their money away on. I'm just the opposite, When I get home from the store I feel wounded. Once, I had my car in the shop and it costed me $1400 and when I got home my water heater blew it's guts out. I put the new one in myself but it still costed $500. I was in critical condition after that, took a couple months till I recovered. I guess I will always be cheap. I believe it was the famous American tightwad Ben Franklin that once said, " A penny saved is a penny earned." He was that gentleman with the bulbous forehead that captured his own electricity in a jelly jar by using a homemade kite tied to a roller skate key because he was too cheap to pay his electric bill.
