Monday ~~ March 28, 2016 ~~ What do you do the day after.....

Posted 03-28-2016 at 08:13 PM by CSD610

So what do you do? Does it depend on the day after what? Yesterday was Easter Sunday so what did you do today?
What about the day after your birthday, Christmas, New Year's Day, Groundhog Day, the sun came up today day?

We do roughly the same thing no matter what the day before was with a few exceptions. When we go to the annual family gathering the day after the *big* gathering we drive home.

When do you think the day after is? Is it tomorrow, was it yesterday or is it today?
Is that the day after the past, the present or the future? How do you determine what you do?

Confusing questions huh? Right now my brain is still processing in tiny pieces the events of the day of the stroke and the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks and months after. Tiny doses of the past that has been in fragmented details that are like a jigsaw puzzle of my life and my brain as I knew them.

It has been a somewhat difficult path to walk, enlightening yet frightening because I do not know which piece is going to be found or fall into place next.

I officially have a brain trauma and my already thin veil on the filter of my mind and mouth is even thinner. I struggle to keep that down to a somewhat civilized level.
Sometimes I fail miserably.

I still lack full control of the left side of my body but I am still improving and I can continue to improve until I am either back to my normal or stay at whatever level I happen to be at that moment.

So, I will leave you with a few questions to ponder if you choose.
Do you drink black pecoe tea or something else?
Do you like marshmallows and whipped cream in your hot chocolate?
Is your pudding cook and serve or instant?
Has your shoe size changed as you have gotten older?
Do you know how to drive a stick shift vehicle?

As usual I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.

Another blog, 35 views, no comments. Annoying. C'mon, peeps, respond. What else have you got to do?

The day after a special day or holiday I go back to work. Life begins again, reality sets in. The buildup is always so much fun, so much excitement, so much anticipation. Then, the day is here, and for some reason it never quite meets the expectations I have assigned to it. The next day is a let down because there is no more anticipation or looking forward to something, and the actual event was a bit disappointing. It has not always been this way for me, only since I have gotten older and my beloved family members have passed on or grown up and moved on. Such is life.

I have told you before that I agree with your posts. We are in the minority, that's for sure. I always enjoy reading your replies to some rather incredulous viewpoints or opinions.

Do you drink black pecoe tea or something else? Black Pecoe. Twinnings English Breakfast Tea and English Afternoon Tea are my favorites.
Do you like marshmallows and whipped cream in your hot chocolate? Both, but not at the same time.
Is your pudding cook and serve or instant? Cook and Serve only. Instant-not so good.
Has your shoe size changed as you have gotten older? Nope, same size.
Do you know how to drive a stick shift vehicle? No, never learned, have no desire to learn.
