Hello, my name is gelofogo
Hello.
My chosen name is gelofogo, which can be translated as "Coldfire." It seems to fit my temperament. It feels of a kind with "Cassius Hueffer" from the Spoon River Anthology:
Something familiar there, for me.
I'm on City-Data for its forums, and to find other people who share my interests, which I'll be exploring in upcoming blog posts. I'm looking for people to like. I think the best way to find you is to show you what you might like about me. Attached is a book cover I designed for an essay I wrote: Empathology: How Much Like Me Do You Feel?
Those of you who like book arts might also appreciate this CDF post on origami.

"Life was not gentle to him,I am not slain, but I find myself arising over and over again from my own ashes, like a befuddled phoenix wondering why its tail smokes. As I remarked on the Books forum, one novel I think highly of is Boyett's Mortality Bridge, which opens with a rock star waking up on the shores of Lethe, with no memory of how he got there or what he was trying to do, until a bored demon tires of the show and goads him.
And the elements so mixed in him
That he made warfare on life,
In the which he was slain."
Something familiar there, for me.
